My lessons are designed to be supportive, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I start by understanding the student’s current level, learning style, and goals so that each lesson can focus on areas where they need the most support. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their abilities.
For science subjects such as biology and general science, I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, logical steps. I use clear explanations, visual examples, and practice questions to help students understand the material rather than simply memorising it. I also include exam-style questions and problem-solving exercises to help students prepare for GCSE or A-Level assessments and build strong analytical skills.
For Spanish lessons, I combine grammar explanations, vocabulary practice, conversation, and interactive exercises. As a native Spanish speaker, I help students improve their pronunciation and fluency while also ensuring they develop a solid understanding of the language structure. Lessons can be adapted for beginners or students looking to improve their confidence in speaking and writing.
I hold a Master’s degree in Cancer, Molecular and Cellular Biology, and have experience working in scientific research environments where communication, organisation, and problem-solving are essential. I also have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds through mentoring, coaching, and customer-facing roles.
Overall, my goal is not only to help students improve their academic performance but also to help them build confidence, curiosity, and a genuine understanding of the subjects they are studying.
