My lessons will be tailored to individual students needs. Students can expect to be engaged throughout the lesson, rather than lectured to - you will be asked questions to gauge understanding and encouraged to ask me as many questions as you like.

I will focus on areas where you need support, rather than using a pre-packaged set of lessons. Each lesson will contain some direct instruction, some discussion around the subject, and a number of exam questions; however, the balance of those elements will depend on you.

As we get to know each other, I will challenge you to take control of lessons periodically, so that you can develop both your independent learning skills and your presentation skills. For-A-level students, I will also show you some of the exciting world of biology beyond the classroom.
