I am an experienced STEM and Engineering tutor with over 15 years of teaching and tutoring students from GCSE and A-Level through to undergraduate level. I specialise in Mathematics, Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanics, Thermal Engineering, and other mathematically intensive STEM subjects. My goal is to help students build deep conceptual understanding, strong problem-solving skills, and effective exam techniques, enabling them to achieve top academic outcomes and gain confidence in complex subjects.
My teaching approach is structured, patient, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I break complex topics into clear, manageable steps, guide students through worked examples, and gradually develop independent problem-solving skills. I place a strong emphasis on conceptual clarity, practical applications, and exam preparation, helping students not only succeed in assessments but also understand how STEM and engineering principles are used in real-world contexts.
In addition to private tutoring, I have taught university-level courses in the UK and India, delivering lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions to undergraduate and MSc students. I hold a PhD in Energy Engineering and am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), reflecting my commitment to high-quality teaching and learning practice.
I offer both online and face-to-face tutoring, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace. Whether helping a student tackle A-Level Engineering Mathematics or mastering university-level Fluid Mechanics, I aim to foster confidence, curiosity, and lasting understanding in STEM subjects.
