I can teach through lessons on zoom, where I can communicate with a student over a video call. Here, I will use a writing app to be able to write all the practice questions and examples and draw diagrams. I can also upload past papers for GCSE to do with a student during a lesson.
My method of teaching will mainly be to discuss with a student the topic they may be struggling with, give a brief run down of the basics if needed and then complete practice questions having the student tell me what steps they think are appropriate to take in solving them. I will offer guidance if needed and correct where necessary, allowing students to gain confidence in their own abilities.
I am mainly teaching GCSE CCEA Maths and Further Maths in the topics of Mechanics and Pure Mathematics.
I have experience working with children through being an active swim coach, though I have limited experience teaching I have achieved top grades in my own GCSEs (10A*) and am very familiar with current exam technique and questions, and have personally tutored many friends and family members through their own GCSEs.
