My name is Aisha Danish. I have done a bachelor in Science and a bachelor in education. I also did TEFL certification an advanced certificate in lesson planning and teaching young learners. I love cooking, traveling, and watching fiction movies and science documentaries. I also volunteer in primary school activities and events. I have ten years of experience in teaching biology from grade 2 to grade 6. I can speak Urdu as my native language and English. My online teaching classes are personalized and activities based. I love to play games, play clips, topic relates YouTube videos, articles, and podcasts, show pictures and charts, and arrange quizzes and competitions, using a digital whiteboard. I teach through zoom and Skype apps. I use the google derive platform for sharing the class material from time to time through which I can stay connected with my students especially those who have some difficulties and progressing slower than others. I provide 1-1 student-teacher sessions which make students more open and motivates to communicate.I always try to apply active learning and dynamic teaching strategies during online classes to allow students to feel comfortable asking questions, and discussing and give them choices to let them work in their own way which makes them more open to engagement.I prefer one of the dynamic strategies is the group discussion by creating small groups for online classes. It can be a perfect opportunity for students to polish their learning and social skills. I believe that each student has their own unique learning method this is why I always create a personalized learning pathway that enables students to alter the way the course is structured so that it aligned with the learning preferences of individual students. It includes choosing how to answer quizzes, submit assignments and present projects.I think in this way students can boost their performance.
