My lessons focus on each student and how they approach English literature texts and context . I listen to their ideas , guide them to a fuller understanding of each text and how to hit the right points . I love the ‘light bulb’ moments when a studemt finds something new in a text or just understands a line of poetry in its complexity . I have a wealth of knowledge in the subject as I am a mature tutor and have tutored for many years particularly at A level and undergraduate level and I was a teaching assistant at university for 2 nd year undergraduates . I have just completed a PhD in Caribbean literature .
