Each lesson follows a clear structure to ensure progress and keep things focused:
Quick Chat & Review: We start with a brief check-in to see how you’re feeling, discuss any questions or challenges since our last session, and set clear goals for today’s lesson. This helps us stay on track and address any concerns right away.
Review of Work or Progress: For tutoring, this means going over homework, exam questions, or study tasks you completed between sessions. For fitness coaching, we’ll review your workouts, progress, and any difficulties you faced. This step allows us to celebrate achievements and identify areas that need extra attention.
Main Lesson Focus: This is the core of our session. For personal training, we work through a customised workout that could include strength training, mobility, cardiovascular exercises, or functional movement drills—tailored to your fitness level and goals. For tutoring, we dive into key topics in PE or Biology, breaking down complex concepts, practising exam-style questions, and exploring practical applications to deepen your understanding.
Goal Setting & Next Steps: We end with setting achievable targets for you to work on before our next lesson, whether that’s completing specific study tasks or following a workout plan. I provide you with clear instructions, resources, and ongoing encouragement.
Throughout all sessions, I focus on creating a supportive, motivating environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and challenging yourself. With experience working with children, teens, and adults, I adapt my teaching style to suit your learning preferences and keep sessions engaging.
