Aiah Mohamed

I have extensive knowledge of Biology, and I have Received A*s in both my GCSE and A-level examinations, gaining full UMS on 5 out of 6 of my papers. Due to my interest and passion for the subject, I have pursued Dentistry in the top dental university in the UK, where one of my course modules is Biomedical Sciences. Continuing to study Biology at university has not only solidified my A-level and GCSE knowledge, but also allowed me to develop a much deeper understanding of the topics. Other than my academic qualifications, my teaching style is very flexible and adjustable to fit the unique needs of each student. Additionally, being the Head Girl when I was at sixth form has helped me in developing my time management and organisation skills; both of which are incredibly important in creating effective lesson plans. I am a clear and effective communicator, and this allows me to explain the content in a concise and easy-to-understand way. Most importantly, as a student myself, I completely empathise with students, as I understand the stress that comes with challenging, content-heavy subjects. Not only will I be able to explain difficult concepts and answer questions, but I will also share the key exam techniques that helped me score highly in my GCSEs and A-levels. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure that students feel comfortable enough to ask as many questions as they need to, and feel confident in their understanding of a topic by the end of a lesson. I am fully confident that I will be able to help any student reach their full potential and exceed expectations in their exams.
