My lessons are friendly, interactive, and built around you. Before we begin, I like to find out what you already know, where you feel stuck, and what you want to achieve, whether that's a better grade, more confidence, or help with homework.
How a typical lesson runs:
Quick check-in: we go over what we covered last time and any questions you have.
New topic: I explain it in plain, simple language, using everyday examples and diagrams so the ideas are easy to picture.
Practice together: we work through questions step by step, and I ask short questions along the way to check understanding.
Wrap-up: we summarise the key points, and I suggest a small task for next time.
What we can cover: KS3, GCSE, and A-Level Biology, including help with homework, revision, and exam preparation. I use past-paper questions and teach exam technique, such as how to read a question and structure a clear answer.
The dynamics: I'm patient and encouraging. There are no silly questions in my lessons, and mistakes are simply part of learning. I adjust my pace to suit you and give clear, honest feedback so you always know what to work on next.
My experience: I have a BS in Microbiology and have been teaching since 2024. I've tutored students one-to-one, taught Biology and Chemistry to O Level and A Level students in school, and delivered university-level Microbiology lectures. This mix of experience helps me explain topics at the right level for each student.
My goal is simple: that you truly understand your topics, feel more confident, and enjoy Biology a little more with every lesson.
