I start with getting to know your language level, learning goals and personality through conversation and - if you are happy to take one - a placement test.

The lessons range form two to four short lessons a week depending in your availability and preference.

Lesson types:

1. conversation based learning
2. hybrid: conversation and coursebook based course
3. special tailor made course eg.: you'd like to bring your own materials

1. Conversation based learning
Either you or I choose a video or article which you watch before the lesson. In the lesson I animate a conversation through questions and make sure you are the one who speaks. In the second part of the lesson I give you language feedback and you can correct your own words. We finish off with some pronunciation practice.

2. Hybrid: conversation and coursebook based course
The course combines the above described lessons with work based on a coursebook (physical or online)

3. Special tailor made course
In this mode I work on a specific skill which you'd like to improve or a language task you need to be able to perform. I might prepare tasks based on the content which you bring with you.

4. Cambridge Exam preparation
A course to guide you through your prepartion for FCE or CAE exam

I am very flexible to modify the lessons on ongoing basis to meet your needs.
With longer courses we might decide to switch between the formats as necessary.
