Adrian Quispe-Ramirez

As an experience I can quote the decade I spent as a Lecturer in six universities. Although I was a Food Engineering lecturer, it was through that experience I can say I learned to interact with students, with people keen to learn and later see the happy end. I like a dynamic teaching process, starting with the elementary and basic knowledge of the language. I think when a student has a solid knowledge of the foundations of the language the he/she will be motivated to go on. I say this because I learned by myself when I started studying Portuguese, with Brazilian teachers, to my surprise I made such a progress that one day the tutor asked me: "Adrian, how long have you been to Brazil". She said so because of my native Brazilian pronunciation. Actually I never been to Brazil, but one day I will. I will stress teaching on the basic of grammar and pronunciation. Learning a foreign language is a challenge we made on ourselves. The two parties have a duty on their own. The join effort will result in a success. I am pretty sure of it, since I will part of that challenge too. They say that a long journey starts with a single step. Then, I am ready to take that first step with my future students. It is just matter of commitment.
