Adnan Ali

I am a practicing visual artist with a BFA and MA in Fine Arts, currently teaching at NCA. I have several years of studio practice and have exhibited my work in multiple group shows. I work primarily with drawing (graphite and charcoal), focusing on observation, time, and everyday spaces. I also have experience guiding thesis students and working closely with learners at different levels.

I teach by slowing things down. We begin with observation; how to really see. I guide students through drawing, composition, and mark-making step by step, with clear feedback at each stage. I adapt to each student’s pace, helping them build confidence while developing their own visual language. The focus is on discipline, clarity, and making work that feels true to them.
