My lessons are designed to make Maths feel less like a difficult subject and more like an exciting puzzle to solve! I believe the best way to learn Maths is to understand the logic behind a problem rather than simply memorising formulas.

I usually start with a problem and encourage students to approach it using common sense and logical thinking. Together, we break it down step by step, identify patterns, and discover the formulas or shortcuts that make solving similar questions easier. My aim is to help students understand why a method works, so they can apply it confidently to new problems.

As an Information Science and Engineering graduate, I have a strong foundation in Mathematics, including advanced calculus. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Analytics at the University of Bristol, where mathematical modelling, statistics and optimisation are an important part of my studies. I also have two years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in financial services. Additionally, I have volunteered to teach Maths to underprivileged students and often help my classmates understand challenging concepts.

Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their individual level, school curriculum and learning pace. I also pay attention to the types of questions they encounter in exams and tailor practice sessions accordingly.

My goal is to make Maths enjoyable, build strong fundamentals, develop independent problem-solving skills and help students achieve better exam results. I want every student to leave a lesson feeling more confident than when they arrived!
