Adifa Brahmantya Darudhita

I am a Biology graduate with a strong academic background in Molecular Genetics and extensive experience assisting in laboratory-based teaching. I am a structured, patient, and detail-oriented tutor who enjoys simplifying complex biological concepts into clear and understandable explanations. My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual foundations while encouraging critical thinking and scientific curiosity.

My lessons are aimed at students across different levels, including high school students who are building their fundamentals in biology, as well as undergraduate students who require deeper understanding in subjects such as genetics, molecular biology, and physiology. I also support students who need help with practical components, exam preparation, and assignments. I adapt my teaching methods to each student’s learning style to ensure effective and engaging sessions.

I have hands-on teaching experience as a practicum assistant in Molecular Genetics, Basic Genetics, and Animal Physiology at Universitas Gadjah Mada. In these roles, I guided both undergraduate and postgraduate students through theoretical explanations and laboratory practices, including specialized techniques such as thalassemia mutation detection. This experience has strengthened my ability to communicate complex material clearly and manage diverse student needs.

In addition to teaching, I have research and laboratory experience, including microbiological analysis during my internship at the Department of Marine and Fisheries, Yogyakarta. I am also currently developing my skills in data analysis, Python, and data visualization through a Data Science program, which enhances my ability to teach biology from an analytical and modern scientific perspective.
