I'm a visual artist, printmaking technician and fashion illustrator with seven years of hands-on experience teaching art and design at university level. Alongside my studio and teaching practice, I'm completing an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at King's College London, which brings a science-informed, evidence-based approach to how I explain and structure learning.

My teaching spans printmaking techniques (screen printing, stencil, monoprint), fashion illustration, and broader creative practice, and I've designed and delivered workshops for learners ranging from school pupils to university students - including developing full workshop plans, technical reference materials, and student-facing resources from scratch. I hold an AFHEA fellowship, reflecting a formal commitment to teaching quality in higher education, in particular for neurodivergent students.

My approach is practical and process-led: I believe skills are best learned by doing, with clear demonstrations, structured step-by-step breakdowns, and plenty of room for individual experimentation. I tailor my pace and explanations to each student's confidence level, and I'm especially attentive to students who learn better through visual and hands-on methods rather than pure theory - something I draw on both from my studio teaching and my growing background in neuroscience and how people process information.

As a multidisciplinary artist myself, working across painting, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, and increasingly technology-driven art, I bring genuine enthusiasm and real-world creative context to every lesson - helping students not just learn a technique, but understand how it fits into a wider creative practice.

Most of the lessons will be online but we can have a conversation for in-person tutoring in London if transport time is paid.
