With over three years of experience tutoring GCSE students in science and maths, I offer structured, supportive, and results-driven lessons tailored to each student’s needs. I’ve worked with learners both online and in person, adapting my approach to suit different learning styles and goals.

Each lesson begins with identifying which topic the student would like to work on, including problem areas and any questions about the content. There is usually a quick knowledge check to assess your current understanding of the topic. This helps me tailor the session to your level and identify any gaps that need attention. We then move into the core content, where I break down complex concepts into manageable, easy-to-understand parts. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, clarify doubts, and engage in discussion - making the learning process interactive and confidence-building.

Towards the end of each session, we shift focus to exam-style questions, applying what you’ve learned in a practical context. This helps reinforce your knowledge and develop the skills needed to tackle real exam papers effectively. I provide feedback and strategies to improve your answers and boost your exam technique.

Before we wrap up, I always ask if there’s anything specific you’d like to cover in the next lesson, to ensure your learning journey is personalised and goal-oriented.
