I have been tutoring for five years across all age groups. At primary school level, I teach English, Maths and the 11+. At secondary school level, I teach English and Politics. I also provide specialised personal statement and interview support for Oxbridge and Russell Group universities for students applying to humanities subjects.

I am committed to help my students reach their full potential. I understand that not every child benefits from the traditional schooling system, so I use different methods to ensure students engage with the content and also become interested in what they are learning. My approach is thorough and diligent, monitoring progress through marked homework assignments and regular feedback. I aim to quickly identify the areas which a student finds difficult and develop a targeted plan tailored to them. My style is engaging, energetic and passionate with a goal of building up a student's self-confidence in a difficult subject. I find teaching incredibly rewarding and have great working relationships with my students.

I am currently completing an undergraduate degree in Law at the University of Oxford and scored in the top 13 students nationally at GCSE. I can not only teach my students the content of one specific subject, but also valuable study skills that will help them achieve academic success across their other subjects. I love making lessons enjoyable and motivating, showing students that learning can be fun. My focus is on boosting confidence, celebrating progress, and helping each student feel proud of what they have achieved.
