I am a dedicated Pharmacy student with a strong academic background in Biology, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I have experience tutoring KS2 Maths in small groups, where I supported students with different abilities by adapting lessons to suit their individual learning styles. This has helped me develop a patient, structured, and supportive teaching approach.
My lessons are tailored to each student and begin by identifying areas of weakness and setting clear goals. Students are also encouraged to have input in what they would like to focus on, ensuring lessons are both personalised and engaging. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable steps, ensuring students build a solid foundation before moving on to more challenging material. I use active recall, exam-style questions, and regular mini-assessments to reinforce learning and track progress over time.
I aim to create a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. For GCSE students, I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, helping them understand how to approach different question styles and maximise marks. For younger students, I focus on building confidence and developing core skills in a way that is both structured and enjoyable.
My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students become more independent and confident learners. I also provide additional support outside of lessons where needed, including guidance with homework and revision planning. I am committed to helping each student reach their full academic potential.
