Hello! My name is Adama!

I am a sixth-form, IB Diploma student in my final year, currently predicted 41 out of 45 points. I took my GCSE's in 2024, and got 8 9's out of the 12 subjects, with grade 9's in subjects including: Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English Literature. I also attained a 7 in English Language. My passion for tutoring doesn't come from my wants, it comes from my desire and love of helping people academically, and understanding concepts clearly with confidence.

I have experience helping peers and younger students with Science, focusing on Year 11 students focusing on their GCSES, and Maths, focusing on all students in KS3 and GCSE's, focusing on areas they find tricky. I have also helped friends prepare for KS3 and GCSE exams, and I understand the common pitfalls and challenges students face.

My lessons are tailored to the needs of students and focus on 3 structures and connected stages - deeply understanding the topic for conceptualising, applying the topic to questions and real world examples, and connecting the topic to other topics and real world applications. This allows students to not just memorise, but to fully understand the material. Lessons are interactive, using slides, examples, exercises, methods of understanding, and exam-style questions to build confidence and improve performance.
