I will assess your initial level as a student and devise a teaching plan based on that. So, if you are just starting out we'll cover the basics of musicality and move on from there. If you know what your goal is and need help to achieve it, I have many resources at hand to help you unlock the next step.

The lesson structures depend on your goals, my key focus is to find out the ambitions and goals of the student and this will determine how the lessons are structured. Are you a singer-songwriter looking for feedback on songs? Then we can structure it around your performance and my feedback. Are you looking to becoming a technical wizard on the guitar? Then we can structure the lesson around a deep dive into technique and theory. Are you staring out and need a clear path to follow? Then we will structure the lesson around step-by-step developments and explanation.

As part of my master's degree I devised a method for playing guitar using the two-handed tapping technique. I have a series of instructional videos as well as a thesis detailing this method for advanced students.

Music is about enjoyment in the end so above all else the point of the lessons is to enhance your enjoyment of music. The aim is to look forward to the lessons as a chance to enjoy music even more!
