Abul Choudhury

I'm Abul, a Computer Systems Engineering student at Queen Mary University of London, with A-levels in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. I have over a year of experience tutoring GCSE Maths privately, and I also work part-time as a coding instructor at a youth education centre — so I'm comfortable explaining complex ideas in a way that actually makes sense to students.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE students on both Foundation and Higher Tier, whether you're trying to catch up, build confidence, or push for a Grade 7, 8, or 9. Every student is different, so I always start by identifying exactly where the gaps are before diving in — no wasted time going over things you already know.
In terms of format, sessions are structured but relaxed. I begin with a short recap or diagnostic to see where we're at, then work through the topic step by step using clear explanations and real worked examples. After that, we move into practice questions — including proper exam-style questions from past papers — so you get used to the way marks are actually awarded. I put a big emphasis on exam technique: showing working clearly, interpreting what the question is really asking, and not dropping easy marks.
I also create my own bespoke practice papers and mark schemes tailored to where each student is, so the homework I set is always relevant and targeted.
Sessions are patient, focused, and always at your pace. My goal is simple — to make you feel genuinely confident walking into that exam.
