My biology lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on making complex concepts understandable by connecting them to real-world examples and practical applications. Lessons typically combine clear explanations of key topics, visual aids such as diagrams and videos, and discussion to encourage critical thinking. I also incorporate practical exercises and demonstrations when possible, to help students apply theoretical knowledge and develop problem-solving skills.
I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel confident to ask questions, explore ideas, and learn at their own pace. I adapt the pace and depth of each lesson depending on the student’s background and goals, ensuring that every session is productive and enjoyable.
Having served as a school teacher during my university placement for a year, I have experience planning and delivering lessons, managing classrooms, and guiding students through experiments. I have also tutored peers in various biology topics, which has further strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
My lessons cover core areas such as cellular biology, genetics, ecology, physiology, and scientific methods, with an emphasis on helping students prepare for exams, build confidence in the subject, and develop critical thinking and analytical skills.
