I first evaluate the weaker topics of the student and focus on them first. I make them fully understand the topic before anything else, I am great at explaining concepts and will make sure they fully understand what’s going on and not just follow a method. Once the student fully understands the topic we move on to practice, this is where we really solidify what they have learnt and make sure they can apply this knowledge in the exam. They will do practice questions of increasing difficulty in order to really master the topic, the more practice the better they will do in the exam. I will give them periodic homework for extra practice and have them do exams regularly so they can work under exam conditions and do not forget previously learnt topics. I can assure that any student will achieve a 7+ at their GCSEs if they comply and put the the effort.
