What to Expect From Our Lessons:

My lessons are entirely student-centred, interactive, and structured to build both competence and confidence. Because I sat my GCSE maths early and achieved a Grade 9, and went on to secure an A* in A-Level maths, I understand the specific pressure students face at every stage of their academic journey. I know the exact shortcuts, revision methods, and mindset shifts needed to master the curriculum. Combined with my background as a Computer Science graduate from the University of Manchester, I bring a highly logical yet incredibly practical approach to problem-solving.

The Lesson Format:

Every session is tailored to your specific needs, but we generally follow a highly effective three-step dynamic:
The Warm-Up & Review: We start by reviewing core concepts or troubleshooting tricky homework questions from the week.
Concept Breakdown: I introduce new topics by stripping away the confusing jargon. We focus on why a formula works, not just memorising it.
Active Practice: We tackle targeted exam-style questions together, gradually moving from guided practice to independent problem-solving so you can ace them on your own.

My Experience & Approach:

I have been tutoring consistently ever since I finished my GCSEs, working with students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities—from early secondary school right up to those tackling their own intense A-Level exams. I know that no two students learn the same way. Whether you are a visual learner who needs diagrams or someone who benefits from step-by-step logical breakdowns, I adapt my pacing to match you.
