My teaching experience is a Unique one where I see my derived strategy produces great results on the student performance in Maths.I make my Teaching very interactive to awaken interest of struggling student by boosting their confidence level. Secondly ,I make use of real life examples to explain Topics that seam more abstract, this strategy tends to bring understanding on the topic because humans naturally understand what they have interacted with in the past rather than using abstract terminologies .Even using Mathematical representations, I make the student understand why i choose such letter to explain a concept.

Sometimes ,I change strategy if i feel my student do not understand what am talking about particularly if I ask questions and the expected response is not given. These make me to evaluate their level of understanding before proceeding with the topic of the day.
In addition, I apply different teaching methods depending on the nature of the topic, the rate of assimilation by my student ,and other factors. These methods include : explanation, small project, discussion etc

I discovered catching the student interest and motivation is very important in getting great success in teaching Maths.You have to keep motivating even when it seam there is no hope. These have given me many beautiful success stories over the years that transformed the mind of so many students parents and other teachers may have given up on.

Further more, It is very important to start a Math lesson from a well known simple example of the learner then increasing the level of difficulty stage by stage until you get to complex example. These is also another great way of making teaching very simple to comprehend by the learner.
