Tutor available for Mathematics (A-level and GCSE), Biology (A-level and GCSE) and Chemistry (A-level and GCSE).
I always begin my lessons by getting to know the student, understanding how they learn best, and identifying any gaps in their knowledge. I ask them what they’ve covered so far, what they find challenging, and what they feel more confident with. This helps me tailor each session to their specific needs.

I place a strong emphasis on exam preparation, as I believe that understanding how to apply knowledge in an exam setting is just as important as learning the content itself. I prioritise working through exam-style questions because that is what students will ultimately be assessed on. I make sure to ask them what exam board or format they are following, so I can provide questions that are directly relevant to what they will face in the actual exam.

My teaching method is patient and thorough. I work through notes and key concepts slowly and clearly, ensuring the student fully understands each part before moving on. I encourage questions at every stage and create a supportive space where the student feels comfortable to ask for clarification.

After going through the core content, we focus on practising with past paper questions. I guide students through answering techniques, common question patterns, and how to structure their responses effectively. We do not move on until the student feels confident in the topic.
