This would be my first time formally tutoring, so I want to be upfront about that rather than oversell myself. What I do bring is genuine enthusiasm for the subject and a real understanding of why the maths works, not just the steps to get an answer — which I think matters more for a first tutor than a long CV. I focus on explaining concepts clearly, working through problems at the student's own pace, and being patient when something isn't clicking, rather than rushing through a syllabus.

My lessons are in-person, and I'd tailor the structure to what each student actually needs — whether that's working through homework, building confidence before exams, or going over a specific topic they're stuck on. I'm easy to talk to and happy to explain things multiple ways until they land.
