Abdul Malik Jalloh

I am a qualified Computer Science and ICT educator, former Head of IT and Computing, and experienced Senior Software Technical Trainer and Technology Lead. I teach learners of different ages and starting points, from KS3, GCSE/IGCSE and A Level students to further-education learners, university entrants, adult beginners and career changers.

My lessons are structured, supportive and practical. I begin by identifying the learner's goals and current understanding, then create a clear plan with explanations, demonstrations, guided practice and independent challenges. I use real examples and project-based learning so that students understand not only what to do, but why it works and how to apply it confidently.

I can support Computer Science, ICT, programming and digital skills, including Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL and MySQL, Linux, algorithms, computational thinking, databases, networking, software development, cybersecurity, ethical hacking and secure coding. For school and college learners, I provide curriculum support, revision planning, exam preparation, programming practice and help with assignments. For adults and aspiring developers, I offer structured learning pathways, portfolio development, code reviews, interview preparation and career-focused technical mentoring.

I have taught Computer Science and ICT in secondary and further-education settings, including IGCSE Computer Science in Qatar, and have held Head of Department responsibilities. Since 2021, I have delivered software training and project support to more than 1,500 learners. I have mentored over 400 learners to build website portfolios and supported more than 300 learners who progressed into entry-level or associate developer roles.

My qualifications include a PGCE in the Lifelong Learning Sector, a BEng (Hons) in Software Engineering, an MSc in Computer Forensics and Cyber Security with Distinction, Certified Ethical Hacker and CompTIA PenTest+. I also hold a Teacher Reference Number and a current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service. My practical cyber experience includes working with Kali Linux and Wazuh SIEM in an authorised security lab.

I am patient, inclusive and committed to building both competence and confidence. Online lessons are available, and face-to-face sessions may be arranged in London and nearby areas.
