Abbie Wilson

I am a qualified and experienced maths teacher and tutor, currently teaching at a secondary school in Kent. I am offering tuition for 11+ preparation, Key Stage 3 and GCSE level in Mathematics. I have taught students of varying abilities, from those who find maths more challenging up to grammar stream level and A-Level. I also have experience of running small group tuition classes for the 11+ exams. This has allowed me to develop a greater understanding of various techniques and the importance of adapting explanations, as what may work for one student may not work for another. I have also worked with students who find the school environment overwhelming and have suffered with anxiety so understand the importance of building a strong working relationship to ensure they are able to gain the most from their tuition sessions.
