I teach emotional intelligence and personal development to young people aged 11–21, helping them build the skills and mindset to thrive both in and beyond education. My sessions draw on my postgraduate training at the University of Oxford in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and my background in neuroscience, combining research-led understanding with practical, down-to-earth tools that young people can use in their daily lives.
Each session is personal, conversational, and grounded in experiential activities. I create a calm, supportive space where students can explore how their minds work, how thoughts, emotions, and habits shape how they feel and perform. Together, we work on self-awareness, confidence, resilience, and emotional regulation through discussion, guided exercises, and reflection. Sessions might include goal setting, habit-forming coaching, mindfulness practice, communication tasks, and learning strategies for managing stress.
Over the past five years, I’ve supported many young people in building emotional maturity and self-belief, whether helping them navigate pressure, recover motivation, or strengthen relationships with peers and family. My approach is collaborative and I don’t tell students who to be; I help them understand who they are and how to grow from there.
My aim is to help young people feel resourced, capable, and confident in their ability to achieve their aspirations and meet life’s challenges.
Please do get in touch if you have any questions. I would gladly organise a free initial call to discuss the possibility of working together.
