Hi Pere, When I sat my exam not long ago I was in the same position as you. Around this time last year I was working at a 5 but in the final exam I achieved an 9! I think the key tips I got from sitting the exam were: 1. Active recall is your best friend - Sit down and think of a topic you struggle with. After you’ve done that, get a piece of paper and scribble down everything you remember. Finally, pull up your exam boards specification (I can show you how to access that if you don’t know how already) and see which bits you missed. The bits you missed out are the ones you need to revise and go over. 2. Do past papers - You need to get into the habit of doing past papers, they might not be interesting but they are the questions you will be assessed on. each year it’s the same questions just asked slightly differently. Pay close attention to the mark scheme and look at the way they write the answer and how they mark it. 3. Make sure you know all the formulas and the units they use - if you don’t know the formulas you have potentially lost up to 20% of all the marks you can get. Make sure you know them like the back of your hand. 4. It’s never too late to start revising - if have to have a good mentality. You cannot walk into the exam stressed or feeling like you haven’t done enough. I hope this helps and good luck for your exam!! :)
