Every dream begins with a passion; a journey, a sense of purpose, a target and the energy to fulfil those aspirations, personal ambition and invigorate them into achievements. Your first or initial steps are to discover yourself, your strengths, your happiness and your subject interests. You must enjoy and find comfort in what you share and educate others with as an academic subject. Once you have progressed to this, your career begins to open to other opportunities, specialisations within the subject, where to teach- in a children's classroom, a college, university or somewhere else, perhaps even overseas. It expands further to class sizes where you feel most at ease, types of learner, challenges and eventually when you are more experienced to control of your salary, hours and even who to teach! I started first as a journalist soon after I finished my first degree. I had attained a Diploma in Newspaper Journalism and aspired to train as a reporter for a national newspaper in the UK where I live. As English language and literature as subjects are similar to writing for a living, I ventured into the field as an additional option to my career and learn new skills on the way. It is now twenty-two years since that day and I have grown to include Business English, IELTS, TOEFL, College Orientation, Job Search, ESOL, English as a Foreign Language, 11 Plus as well as (GCSE and A Level) English Language and Literature.

The process was straightforward—starting with creating a detailed profile to showcase my expertise and teaching approach. FindTutors provided an excellent platform to reach a diverse student base, making it easy for me to set my schedule and customize lessons according to each student's needs. My experience so far has been rewarding. The platform facilitates effective communication, making it simple to coordinate with students and parents. Additionally, the feedback mechanism has helped me refine my methods and ensure student satisfaction. For anyone considering joining FindTutors, I suggest investing time in crafting a professional and engaging profile.
