Native Spanish and English tutor

Hello! My name is Una McGeough and I am a qualified and experienced tutor with a passion for helping students gain confidence in their learning. I hold a First-Class degree in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s in International Relations from IBEI (Barcelona). I am a native English, Spanish, and Catalan speaker, with additional knowledge of Irish and Portuguese.

Over the past several years, I have taught both children and adults in schools, tutoring sessions, and online classes. My lessons are interactive, tailored to each student’s goals, and designed to build both knowledge and confidence. Whether you are preparing for exams, improving your spoken English, or strengthening grammar and writing skills, I create structured but engaging lessons to suit your level and learning style.

I believe in creating a supportive environment where mistakes are part of the learning journey, and I use a mix of conversation, practice exercises, and real-life materials to keep lessons practical and enjoyable.
