I have been painting for over 5 years now and i have had a lot of experience . As someone who paints when they are bored or sad or want to relax I can assure you, you will have as much fun as me to learn it. You'll get no h/w but you'll be set tasks which you can complete whenever you want with no deadline. This is so painting doesn't become a burden and actually becomes your safe space. If you can already paint but just need company or someone to help you more or just need a friend then this is for you as well. We can listen to music and try new designs and types of art. I studied design technology for GCSE so I can help with things such as DIY and sketching as well!!
