I am a friendly and engaging tutor who meets tutees where they are at in their knowledge gaps. I help them build confidence and learn as they connect, consolidate and grow! I mainly tutor in Maths & English, but also open to any areas of learning you want to focus on.

I have more than 2 years' experience tutoring in schools and in homes + 3 years as a Class Teacher. I've taught or tutored all KS1 & KS2 years and also some KS3 students.
I have a desire to particularly work with students with additional needs.

Tom tutored our two children (ages 7 and 10) for almost a whole term (approx. 4 hours each week) whilst they were out of formal education. Tom is a great, engaging tutor. He worked really well with both of the children during this time, primarily covering English and maths but also some science and geography. We have been impressed with the tuition provided and so have decided to carry with Tom's tutoring for an hour a week since the children are now in school.
