My lessons are tailored to the needs of the individual student after some needs analysis occurs. Once we ascertain the best direction, I like to use a combination of official exam board books, as well as online resources to ensure that my students are provided access to a varied approach to their learning. I like to understand what a student wishes to achieve, so hone my lessons with this in mind, but I also make sure that we cover rudiments and sound technique throughout, also. Ultimately, I always aim to keep engagement and enjoyment high, and like nothing more than to praise my students’ progress and hard work.
