Professional guitarist and teacher with 20+ years’ experience offering tailored lessons in classical (including Suzuki method for little ones), flamenco, gypsy jazz, music theory inc. GCSE and A-level coaching. I can also teach ukulele and mandolin.

Guitar lessons focus on strong technique, tone, and musicality. I do my best to cater for your musical tastes/ with proven success in exam preparation if wanted. Available online or in-person for beginners to advanced players — all ages and levels welcome.

Jamie taught my daughter both in person and virtually, and I can't recommend him highly enough. From the start, his patience and ability to connect with her was evident — he clearly knows how to build rapport with young learners and keep them engaged. The results speak for themselves: my daughter made more progress in just 6 months with Jamie than she had in the previous 2.5 years combined. More importantly, she developed a genuine love for playing — something no amount of practice drills can manufacture. The best indicator of a great teacher isn't test scores or recitals — it's whether a student wants to show up. My daughter looked forward to every lesson and started practicing on her own without being asked. That kind of intrinsic motivation is rare, and Jamie deserves full credit for nurturing it. Where do I begin! Mr Fekete taught me guitar from the age of around 7 to 16, during this time I can honestly say that the quality of the teaching that i received was second to none. Mr Fekete is an incredible teacher who was able to tailor the lessons to suit me and my own personal goals in learning guitar, as well as adapting how he teaches to suit my learning style. Lessons were always relaxed and fun, with an emphasis on personal development and making the process of learning enjoyable. As aforementioned, I had Mr Fekete as a teacher throughout my childhood and I feel qualified to say that his skill at teaching throughout the years was brilliant, and he is an extremely effective teacher for students of any age. If you want to learn in a safe, comfortable and constructive environment, this is the perfect teacher for you! Jamie has taught my 2 boys for over 10 years, taking the oldest all the way through to grade 6 and I honestly could not have chosen a better teacher.
