French and EAL Tutor

My name is Dotty and I am a qualified teacher of languages (French, Polish, and English as an Additional Language) who is offering educational services to students and families that might need them. I have over 15 years of experience in teaching at various schools (primaries, secondaries, states, and international schools). I have a master’s degree in International Education specialising in Child Development and English as a Foreign Language as well as Postgraduate Studies in Education in Modern Foreign Languages.
I offer private one-to-one or group tutoring and guidance support to children, and SEN and EAL support for pupils online.
I am a passionate and hard-working person who is dedicated to the education and well-being of children. I have experience working with children of all ages and abilities.
My teaching philosophy together with my experience and communication skills allow me to nurture and encourage children to achieve their potential by stimulating their imagination and enthusiasm for learning.
I am caring and understanding and can engage pupils through my resourcefulness, creativity, dedication, and calming nature.
I prepare individual educational plans and activities for children so they can be involved in their own learning process. I am a supporter of self-exploration, gaining knowledge, and building confidence through play and encounters. Regardless of how it occurs, I believe learning is about the individual.
My aim is to help children become confident individuals with a fundamental belief in their abilities.
