English and Science tutor providing lessons for all ages

I have a master's degree in Biological Sciences from UCL and an A-level equivalent in mathematics and English as a foreign language. I have been tutoring for 8 years now, preparing my tutees for school, entrance exams, and language exams. I also taught as a math teacher in camps for talented children (aged 10-14).

As a tutor, I aim to give fun lessons where my tutees are relaxed when learning with me. This helps them find their confidence in the subject of choice, making them less afraid of mistakes and more open to learning. My goal is to explain the things my students do not fully understand in an easy-to-understand manner (often using visual aids as well), and then practice that type of problem until they grasp the logic of the solution.

When I am teaching English as a foreign language, I also like to bring up topics that my students are fond of, creating a relaxing environment where they do not feel anxious to speak in English. Once they regain their confidence, it is much easier to talk about topics that are required for school or exams.
