English for adult learners as foreign languages, especially for Chinese speaking people

I have a PhD in religious studies. I am a Chartered Linguist (CL) and Fellow of Chartered
Institute of Linguists (FCIL), with experiences of teaching English, as well as extensive experience of interpreting English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) for government and public services (e.g. NHS hospital, mental hospital, clinic, social service department, housing department, council, school, law firm, probation centre, court and prison) in London area as a freelance interpreter since 2004. I have also been a language assessor for the Chinese speaking and writing exam for the UK Ministry of Defence since 2021.
