I give affordable private lessons for students of all abilities

As a law student at the University of Bristol, it is clear that my passion and strength lies in essay writing and critical analysis. This rigorous degree has fostered my ability to study and read academic work efficiently, extracting and revising material that I will be able to harness to my advantage when doing my examinations. Moreover, my A-Level exams (English Literature, History and Politics) notably prove my skill in this (3 high A*s). With regards to my tutoring style, I will use the learning techniques that I find most helpful, for example creating 'cheat sheets' and using active recall to write 'quick fire' plans, to enable my tutees to reach their potential. What is more, I start every session with a 5-minute quiz on the material that was covered the previous session in order to further cement understanding.
As a student who has learnt that it is hard work and consistency that leads to academic success, I am always keen to reiterate to tutees that the scope for improvement is immense, and highly achievable, if they just put in the hours.
