Flexible 1:1 tutor with SEN experience

I have been teaching for five years as well as having two years experience in SEN education. I am entering my second year of online tuition, I have experience in teaching in small groups both online and in the classroom. I teach Maths, English and RE. I have lead groups all the way from primary school to adults.

I am an ex dance teacher who loves to see that spark of excitment when a student suprises themselves and learns something new for the first time. I believe paitence, mutual respect, and a relaxed but focused working atmosphere is key to a successful learning enviroment. I love watching my students confidence grow! I will always change my approach if a student is struggling or find a way of looking at things from a different angle. It can be very difficult to take information in if you dont feel comfortable with your tutor, so creating a happy and open learning enviroment is my first priority. I also love to get involved in chairty and commuinty work, most recently I have used my dancing to raise money for Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education aswell as raising funds for food banks, giving to wildlife chairites, and working with the homeless
