English as a foreign language

I am a TEFL certified tutor and have been teaching English since the year 2014. After moving to Russia in 2016, I started teaching kids from 5 years old , teens and adults and widened my scope to Business English and exam preparation in addition to General English . I had the pleasure of closely working with individuals and groups from Elementary to Advanced . I have worked in several organizations ranging from kindergartens, language schools and online clubs and am still engaged with some of them. As well as planning and delivery of high quality teaching on physical and virtual settings, I am also experienced in different exam preparations for example YLE, KET, PET and FCE.

Since March 2020, I switched from physical to virtual teaching and this has significantly impacted my life in different aspects. It has increased the flexibility of my time and location as I can teach from anywhere to anyone in the world and at almost anytime. Online resources have been of great use than before when teaching was just mainly physical for example the Miro board, Wordwall, Quizlet, Quizziz, Liveworksheets and LearningApps.

I use the communicative method which focuses on speaking by a combination of various resources for example videos, audios, articles, worksheets etc which are incorporated into the lessons to encourage speaking.
