About Me:
I’m a third-year Biochemistry undergraduate at Cardiff University on the Integrated Master’s (MBiochem) programme. I’m passionate about all things biology — from the chemistry of life at the molecular level to the complexity of ecosystems — and I’m excited to help GCSE and A Level students build confidence and achieve their best results.

My Experience and Skills:
Through my degree, I’ve gained extensive hands-on and theoretical and practical experience across a wide range of biological and biochemical topics, including:

- Cell biology – practical work creating cell cultures and measuring growth dynamics

- Human anatomy & physiology – understanding how body systems are structured and how that defines function

- Biochemical reactions – understanding complex enzyme pathways which underpins key metabolic processes

- Ecology & evolution – studying how organisms and ecosystems function

- Data handling & analysis – interpreting experimental results and statistical trends

I consistently achieve high grades in exams and coursework, and since I’m still in higher education myself, I’m very familiar with the current exam styles, mark schemes, and the common challenges students face.

My Teaching Approach:
Unlike many older tutors, the exams your student will face are still fresh in my memory. I give tailored study plans with spaced repetition to prepare your student for any question. My aim is to make biology understandable, engaging, and enjoyable — whether you’re revising for exams, working on coursework, or trying to strengthen your foundational knowledge. My online 1 to 1 lessons will go through your student’s exam questions, interpret when the examiner is looking for and plan a clear and concise answer to get full marks.
