I am a First Class Mathematics graduate with 1 year of experience teaching KS3 and KS4 maths.

I believe the best way to learn maths is to understand why something works, rather than simply memorising a method. In my lessons, I'll take the time to explain things clearly and in a way that makes sense to you, adapting my approach depending on what you find difficult and how you learn best.

We'll work through examples together, practise applying what you've learned and focus on any areas where you feel less confident. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that's an important part of learning. No question is a silly question, the silly thing is to not ask a question when you are unsure!

Most importantly, I want you to finish each lesson feeling more confident than when you started. I will not just give you the answers, the end goal is for you to have the conviction to work them out for yourself.
