Experience I have previous experience providing in-person tutoring for GCSE Foundation Maths. I supported a student who was initially working at a Grade 1 and helped them improve to a Grade 3, close to achieving a Grade 4. This involved breaking down topics into simple steps, building confidence, and using consistent practice with exam-style questions. I focus on helping students understand the basics clearly and gradually improving their ability to apply knowledge in exams. I also create personalised learning resources tailored to the student’s exam board and specific topics they are struggling with. This may include notes, mind maps, flashcards, and practice questions. These resources are designed to support understanding and revision outside of lessons, and may take some preparation time to ensure they are clear, accurate, and helpful for the student.
