I am strict but rewarding, I get results whilst maintaining and understanding that children should have fun and enjoy learning.

I have four years of experience providing private tutoring, mainly for 11+ exams, with all my students significantly improving and often exceeding even parental expectations. I tailor each lesson based on the child’s ability, the exam board they're working towards, and any specific goals shared by parents. I focus on making lessons engaging by using interactive activities, quick recall games, and clear, structured methods that build both confidence and understanding. I believe there is also particular importance in regular testing to understand if improvements are being made. However I still aim to create a relaxed but focused learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and enjoy the process of improving. All children become more confident in asking questions - which is a useful skill for life.
