I am a retired Health and social care/Child care teacher, level 1 and 2. I have also taught ESOL and Employability.

I have been teaching since 2003 full time. I have now retired and only wish to teach part time. I qualified as a social worker and youth worker many years ago so I am very good with engaging with young people and adults. I am also experienced in safeguarding for children and adults. I am happy to teach remotely. I will make sure I get to know the students by having a introduction session and discussing their individual needs and ways of learning. I will always do an evaluation of each session looking at what went well and what needed more improvement in order to make sure learning has taken place. I will also do a small quiz at the end to see if they have taken in the information for that day.
