Advert description
I am a native level English speaker with strong communication skills, an International Baccalaureate Diploma, and experience working with people of all ages through academic, clinical, and administrative roles. My background has trained me to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning needs, and create a supportive, patient learning environment. I am multilingual (Norwegian, English, Latvian, Russian), which helps me understand the challenges language learners face and guide them effectively through them.
I have experience teaching, assisting, and communicating in international settings, and I bring structure, clarity, and encouragement to every lesson. I also have a strong eye for detail, excellent grammar skills, and confidence in helping students build both accuracy and fluency.
My teaching style is honest, supportive, and focused on progress relative to each individual student. I believe that encouragement only works when it is meaningful, students don’t benefit from empty praise, and I don’t give it. I never berate or discourage learners. If something isn’t good, I will say so, explain why, and show exactly how it can be improved.
My goal is to help students understand their strengths and weaknesses in a practical way. I provide specific, constructive feedback that makes it easy to see what went wrong and how to do better next time. Honesty builds trust, and trust helps students improve faster and feel more confident.
In every lesson, I combine clear explanations, structured practice, and real conversation. I adapt to each student’s level and pace, making sure they always know what they’re working on and why. My teaching is straightforward, motivating, and focused on genuine progress.
