I am a patient, passionate, and creative Mandarin teacher who enjoys helping students learn Chinese in a relaxed and engaging way.

I am a native Mandarin teacher with both Chinese and British educational backgrounds, which allows me to better understand learners’ ways of thinking and cultural differences. I am fluent in English and use creative and interesting methods to help students develop an interest in Mandarin before explaining grammar, pronunciation and expressions in a clear and simple way. In my teaching, I focus on creating a relaxed and confident learning atmosphere where students feel comfortable to speak. I combine listening, speaking, reading and writing exercises with real life conversations and cultural topics. Each lesson is personalised according to the student’s goals, whether for daily communication, business Chinese or exam preparation, to make learning effective and enjoyable.
